POETRY LUV x AI: WHO'S LOOKING AFTER ME

Delivered by Indigo Youth (2023)

Who is AI, what is AI, is AI a friend or an enemy?

Over summer 2023, Brixton-based organisation Indigo Youth have brought their spoken word platform Poetry Luv to Science Gallery London for our AI season.

Across five workshops, emerging poets and spoken word artists will meet with AI researchers at King’s College London to debate the ethics around AI. From how AI will affect our justice, healthcare and education systems, to whether it’s possible to fix bias, no topic is off the table.

During the process, the poets and spoken word artists will write new poetry informed by their conversations with the King’s researchers, and will co-create a live performance to showcase their work on 30 September 2023 at Science Gallery London.

The aim of the project is to highlight the power and value of changing who gets a seat at the table when deciding how AI develops.
