The ITAV Film Festival

  • Science Gallery London Great Maze Pond London, England, SE1 United Kingdom (map)

The ITAV Film Festival is a celebration of the age-old expression, "It takes a village to raise a child.”

It’s the first film festival focused on celebrating and honouring young creatives. and the village of family, advocates, caregivers and innovators who support their ideas, growth and success.

The ITAV Film Festival explores the journeys of creative young people and families navigating the road of healing, hope and resolution with the support of their village and networks.

The Festival is centred around four films – 7 Doors, Kolaja, The Cost of Loving and Him & I – created by talented and diverse young creatives. The films explore themes of family trauma, the cost of living crisis and social mobility, and look to bring audiences to experience the journey of hope, healing and resolution in dealing with these themes.

There’s a packed programme throughout the day – screenings, workshops, talks, creative networking opportunities and much more.

Tickets are free, but please book in advance.

Bridge The Gap Studios founded The ITAV (It Takes a Village) to recognise and honour the unseen journeys of underrepresented and undervalued creative people and their village of support.
