Daniel Glaser in Australia
Daniel Glaser, Director of Science Gallery London, a neuroscientist, and the first scientist to be a Man Booker Prize judge, was at the University of Melbourne's Carlton Connect Initiative, LAB-14, recently to give a talk on creativity and the brain, titled “A Beautiful Mind: The brain and the creative process“. Before his talk, Daniel took some time to chat to local radio station 3RRR’s Breakfasters team. Listen to the interview.
The Carlton Connect Initiative (CCI) is committed to the proactive development of a world-class innovation precinct with two streams of activity – the creation of a central place and the capability to build partnerships. This confluence enables the initiative to turn the energy and talent of people from academia, business, and all levels of government into a world of potential through innovation. They are the curators, catalysts and stewards – cris-crossing through technologies, sectors and streams of knowledge to solve complex problems for a range of communities.
