Making waves at Science Gallery London

Well-known arts station Resonance 104.4fm will take up residency in a pop-up space on the site of the future Science Gallery London this week.

Described by Time Out as ‘brilliantly eccentric’, Resonance is a London based non-profit community radio station specialising in the arts, run by the London Musicians’ Collective (LMC).

During September to November 2014 Resonance will transmit broadcasts from the basement of Boland House on the Guy’s Campus.

The station will run live broadcasts and a programme of workshops, sound art activities and installations – many of which will be open to the public, giving visitors a taste of life at the future Gallery.

Special guests will include artists from FREQUENCIES: Tune into Life the first experimental programming from Science Gallery London, which sees artists, young people and academics working together to explore the rhythms of our lives and use these cycles to create unique sounds, installations and performance pieces.

Details of events and activities are available via the FREQUENCIES: Tune into Life microsite or follow @scigallerylon on Twitter.
