MAKESHOP: Christmas Doodlebots

Two small robots with square bodies and legs made of pens are decorated with arts and craft materials to give them facial features. One of them has a white beard and a red hat with a white trim to look like Father Christmas.

Science Gallery London, Ground Floor
£10 per activity pack

Coming to Science Gallery London this Christmas: a festive edition of MAKESHOP with our favourite Doodlebots!

Learn how to make your own jiggling Doodlebot that comes to life to doodle its own piece of art. Bring yourself, your curiosity, a Santa hat and your enthusiasm, and we’ll build some cool stuff together. You'll also be given you some instructions, so you can continue your experimentation at home.

Each session is £10.00 per maker, all you need to do is turn up in good time before your chosen session and check in with one of the Science Gallery London team at the Ground Floor desk. There are ten spaces for each session and places are given on a first come first served basis. Parents are asked to stay with and supervise their makers for the duration of the workshop.

Need some assistance? Full access details for a visit to Science Gallery London are available here.

MAKESHOP at Science Gallery London aims to engage younger minds with the possibilities of creatively combining science, art and technology. In each workshop you’ll learn how to think creatively about science and gain fun things to take home.
