MAKESHOP: February Half Term - Bee Hotel

Friday, February 21, 2020 - 11:00 to 14:00
Science Gallery London, Ground Floor
£5 per activity pack

Get ready for spring and build a bee hotel! Learn all about pollination and the importance of looking after our buzzy friends and take home your hotel to support the bees in your local area.

Bees are very important pollinators of crops and wildflowers. Solitary bees don’t live in a hive like honeybee, so they look for holes and hollow tubes as safe places to lay their eggs. By building a bee hotel, you will help support the bees in your area!

MAKESHOP at Science Gallery London aims to engage younger minds with the possibilities of creatively combining science, art and technology. In each workshop you’ll learn how to think creatively about science and gain fun things to take home.

Each session costs £5.00 per activity pack, payable on the day.

There is no need to book, but the activity is available on a first come, first served basis.
