PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT MANAGER (1 year fixed term contract, part time)
We are seeking an exceptional individual to develop 'Impact & Engagement Services' (I&ES) as a core service for researchers at King’s College London. I&ES advises researchers on embedding engagement and impact strategies within research grants and the delivery and evaluation of activities.
The following qualities are essential; proven interest in scientific research and direct experience in making it more accessible for a range of audiences, excellent project management skills and demonstrable experience and success as a public engagement practitioner.

We recruit Mediators on a rolling basis. The positions are part time to complement academic study and careers. Mediators work within the exhibition gallery to chat to visitors about a wide variety of topics sparked by our throught-provoking exhibits, give guided tours of our exhibitions, support our public events programme and carry out experiments and demonstrations.
WHAT IS THE RECRUIMENT PROCESS?
New Mediators are recruited on a rolling basis, as and when opportunities open up – usually at the start of a new exhibition season.
