  • The purpose of the Public Engagement Manager is to bring about a step change in King’s approach to engaging public audiences with research. Based within the Science Gallery team, the role will support King's researchers in developing public engagement with their research. In some cases this could relate to our programming, but it will also extend to many other research projects unconnected to the Science Gallery London programme.

Once we open our doors in 2018, we will offer paid employment as Mediators, the positions will be part time to complement academic study and careers. Mediators will be within the gallery to chat to visitors about all sorts of topics sparked by our strange and wonderful exhibits, give guided tours of our exhibitions, and carry out experiments and demos! Register your interest now by emailing us at
