Safe(r) Spaces

Creating a Welcoming Space at Science Gallery London

As part of King’s College London, Science Gallery London is a space for curiosity, creativity, and conversation. We’re committed to making it a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone - including students, staff, visitors, and collaborators.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or prejudice of any kind - including based on race, sex, gender, sexuality, disability, nationality, religion, or background - has no place here.

  • Please respect each other’s personal space and boundaries. Always ask before initiating physical contact or sensitive conversations.

  • Treat others with consideration. The way we speak and act matters - this is a shared space where everyone should feel comfortable and valued.

  • It’s fine to challenge ideas, but always with respect for the people behind them.

  • To keep this space safe and welcoming for all, we reserve the right to refuse entry or ask anyone to leave if they are acting in a threatening, confrontational, or disrespectful way towards students, staff, visitors, or collaborators.
