The Attention Battle

  • Science Gallery London Great Maze Pond London, England, SE1 United Kingdom (map)

Do you hear about ADHD everywhere? Diagnoses have surged, increasing nearly twenty times over the past two decades. Many of those are for adults whose symptoms went unnoticed or misdiagnosed in childhood.

IMPULSE: PLAYING WITH REALITY is an immersive story exploring how thought patterns shape lives by the multi-award winning, creative studio Anagram. The story shares four accounts of people experiencing intense emotions, using playful mixed reality animations to connect their experiences with yours.

During this curated evening, the directors of the project will delve into the complex experience of trying to pin down this supposed deficit of attention, drawing from over 100 hours of interview material with individuals with ADHD and experts in the field.

Hosted by: May Abdalla, Writer and Director, Impulse: Playing with Reality

Guest Speakers:
Edmund Sonuga-Barke, Professor of Developmental Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience at King's College London
