Prosthesis – Simulation kit of externalised human brain tissue explores the possibilities and risks of brain alteration as accessories.

The installation is inspired by a fictional South Korean research team that experiments with the proliferation of human brain tissue and extending it outside the skull.

Thirteen possible brain extensions are accompanied by an audio excerpt of a performance-lecture by the artist which imagines a future where we could wear differently shaped brain extensions to boost performance, regenerate lost functions, or as fashion accessories.
