To help us ensure that all our visitors to Science Gallery London have an enjoyable experience, we ask that groups of 10 or more people register their visit with us in advance. If you are planning to lead a group visit, please use our online booking form to register your plans. Please note that our exhibition gallery is closed on all Mondays excluding bank holidays.
Some of our special exhibitions will contain content and images that may be of a sensitive nature so we consider our exhibitions to be most suitable for visitors aged 15+. If you are planning on bringing a group under the age of 15, please contact us to discuss the content of the current exhibition.
Science Gallery London is fully wheelchair accessible and we offer other forms of support for visitors with disabilities. More information can be found on our Accessibility page
Travelling to Science Gallery
Science Gallery London is located opposite The Shard in London Bridge. You can reach us by Tube, Train, Bus or Car and all details can be found on the Your Visit page (hyperlink). Please note, there is no coach parking in the immediate area.
When you arrive, please make your way to the Welcome Desk on the ground floor where our Visitor Experience team will be ready to meet you. If you cannot make your scheduled time or need to cancel your group visit, please let us know as soon as possible. Please note that there are no Cloakroom facilities in Science Gallery London.
Inside the Exhibition Gallery
Inside the exhibition gallery, we will have Mediators on hand to assist with your visit but we ask that you don’t touch any objects or artworks unless otherwise encouraged by our Mediator team. Please be considerate of other visitors in the gallery and be aware that at busy times, we may restrict access to certain parts of the exhibition. Photography is generally permitted for personal use but please be aware that we may restrict photography of some artworks for copyright reasons.
Eating and Drinking
We have a cafe on the ground floor which has unreserved seating and we ask that only food or drink bought within Science Gallery is consumed here. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a dedicated space for groups to be seated to eat lunch their own lunch as part of a visit, however there is a public courtyard outside the gallery and some great public spaces nearby that may be of use when the weather allows.
