MOUTHY is now in full flow, with installations, events and workshops popping-up in surprising locations around London Bridge until 30 November; here’s where you can find us:

Oral Emporium: MOUTHY’s pop-up hub on Collingwood Street, Guy’s Campus, SE1

The Oral Emporium opened on 19 September, and will be home to several installations and experiences throughout the MOUTHY season:

Terminal Sulcus, 19 September–7 October, including workshops to cast your tongue  (Opening hours: 1–5pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and 4–8pm on Thursdays)

Microbe Mouth, 18 October

A Cleft in Time, 18–19 October

The Fellatio Modification Project, 1–4 November

The Colonnade
Effie Paleolougou’s series of micro and macro photographs of chewing gum, maps the city through the debris of its anonymous inhabitants. Find Microcosms on the walls of the Guy’s Campus colonnade, 19 September–25 November.

Guy’s Campus Student Union
A range of workshops are coming to the Student Union, including Hayden Cohen’s poetry writing and performance competition Gobsmacked on 6, 13 and 17 October.


Talking Statues
Let’s get MOUTHY: this autumn we are collaborating with Sing London’s Talking Statues project, to give three statues on Guy’s Campus voices. Hear from Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine, a boat by artist Daniel Silver, and enter our competition to give the gift of speech to John Keats, former medical student at St Thomas’ Hospital. (Competition deadline 23 October)

Borough Market, Market Hall
Interactive installation The Afterbite asks ‘what’s it like to be swallowed by different animals?’ from 7-16 October, and we return on 24 November for Rumination on Mastication, a feast and the MOUTHY finale.

The Factory, Ugly Duck
Natasha Davis collaborates with members of the Dental Institute at King’s College London to take audiences on a poetic, medical, bitter-sweet journey at Teeth Show on 20 November.
