Join our Lunchtime Talk with Dr. Ruth Bowyer, discover how our changing environment influences how we age.

What shapes how we age? What does a changing environment mean for our health?

Alongside our exhibition Vital Signs: another world is possible join our free Lunchtime Talk with Dr Ruth Bowyer, Ruth is a biologist and data scientist working to understand how the environment influences health, and particularly healthy ageing. Her background is interdisciplinary, spanning biological, environmental and data sciences.

In this talk Dr Ruth Bowyer will discuss the many environmental factors influencing healthy ageing, and how they might change in the future as the environment changes around us, with reference to her work within the TwinsUK cohort at King’s College London.

Science Gallery London’s lunchtime talk programme invites researchers from King’s College London to explore big ideas in a relaxed setting, with an emphasis on responding to audience questions.

Ruth will talk for 20 minutes, and then invite questions from the audience.
